Spain withdraws contingent from Kosovo

PRISTINA, Kosovo -- Spain became the first country Saturday (September 19th) to withdraw all of its troops from Kosovo. The last group of 88 Spanish soldiers returned to Madrid on Saturday. The move comes almost a year and a half after Kosovo declared its independence, which Spain has not recognised. (DPA, RTVE, Gazeta Express - 19/09/09)
