Der Deutsche Botschafter Ernst Reichel, mischt sich wieder einseitig ein

Natürlich hat der Botschafter Recht, aber immer nur einseitig eintreten, ist peinlich. Es kann Nichts mehr verwundern, wenn sich GEneral Bühler, oder Michael Steiner und Tausende von Deutschen, von Mafia mit jungen Frauen aus prominenten Verbrecher Clans, wie den Gashi's versorgen liessen, was im Herbst 1999, allen Geheimdiensten bekannt war, das die Kosovaren sich mit dieser Methode sogar rühmten. Constructive, ist ein schönes Wort. Wohin solche Phrasen führt, sieht man ja in Bosnien, wie im Kosovo und Albanien. Alle Polizei, Justiz und sonstigen EU und US Missionen sind gescheitert und nur die sogenannten Experten und hohen UN, EU, US Verwaltungs Gestalten wurden reich. Oft auch noch durch Bestechungs Gelder, weil die Bande vollkommen korrupt ist und war, wo Steven Schook, Joachim Rückers, Lambsdorf, Michael Schäfer, Jo Trutschler besonders berüchtigt waren.

Reichel: Serbia needs to be constructive

PRISTINA - German Ambassador to Kosovo Ernst Reichel has stated that his country expects that until December 9 Serbia will present firm evidence that it will give up on the so-called parallel institutions in north Kosovo.

In the manner, Serbia would prove its constructive relations with neighbors, including Kosovo, Reichel believes.

We cannot expect that the parallel institutions will be abolished until December 9, however if Serbia wants the EU Council of Ministers to approve its candidacy status on that day, it has to find a way to show that it has given up on these structures, Reichel said in an interview for the Pristina-based Albanian language daily Koha Ditore.

Germany's representative in Kosovo requested the Belgrade-Pristina dialogue to be continued, adding that this does not exclude the need for a political dialogue.

According to him, the north can be discussed only in the framework of the Ahtisaari Plan as regards to the status of the north Kosovo municipalities.

Kosovo: Is the Quint Serious About Peace at All?
According to the press, the Quint is apparently still using helicopters to fly Kosovo customs officials to the two northern Gates. It was KFOR doing the air travel but I understand it may now be helicopters rented by EULEX? In any case, seems that EULEX is pleased with itself because it continues to plant these customs officials at the boundary crossings even though they have nothing to do as the northern Kosovo Serbs continue to block them. It appears too that KFOR has stopped trying to close off all alternative roads as there are too many of them and too few KFOR. (Perhaps not all national contingents are willing to go on these wild goose chases? Just the Americans and Germans?)

Not at all clear what the Quint thinks it gains by this daily empty gesture. Perhaps it is meant to appease Pristina? Or perhaps to keep the boundary issue open until Belgrade agrees - under pressure from the EU - to some customs formula acceptable to the Kosovo Albanians? Whatever the case, it sure ain't status neutral. Talk about Kosovo as "one customs area" cannot hide the fact that UN peacekeepers - i.e., KFOR and EULEX - have no legal mandate to decide which side owns that area.
