The Board for economy and finances of Serbian
Government yesterday adopted changes of the Law on public purchases by
which the present Administration for Public Purchases, the only
supervising body doing its job within system of public purchases, shall
stop to exist. Experts in Serbia and the European Commission have been
warning for months that this should not be done.

Government, as said by Goran Radosavljevic, State Secretary at the Ministry of
Finance.
‘The present Administration shall be closed a month after adoption of the draft.

same people from the actual Administration shall continue working in the ministry.
