Albaner schreiben die Antike Geschichte um: Das Orakel von “Dodones", liegt nun in Albanien
Science Academy boycotted
26/11/2012
The holding of the same conference by the Albanogy Centre made the state representatives to boycott the conference held at the Science Academy that according to vice chairman Myzafer Kerkuti was planned a long time ago.
The decision given by Paskal Milo was harsher. As a historian, he says that two different scientific activities show an intentional fraction by the government and not allowing the Albanians to be united on the 100th anniversary of independence.
The scientific results aim to create a book that will be published and presented to schools.
Fisher: The last German left Albania on December 4th
On the verge of the 100th year of independence and the Liberation day from the Nazi occupation, historians bring new facts that spur other debates about the Liberation day.
Historian Berndt Fischer says that there are two reports published in 1945, one written by a US diplomatic mission in Albania, and another by the Germans.
The German report says that the last German left Albania on December 4th.
“The German Army had their representative in Albania, who kept detailed reports. The German and the American reports differ from each other. The US report gives more positive notes about Enver Hoxha’s regime and the war of the Albanians, different from the German. The German report gives new historic facts that could serve to your debate about the Liberation Day, since it says that the last German soldier has left Albania on December 4th”, Fischer declared.
The History Institution Director, Beqir Meta, said that the Albanian historians have brought new facts and analysis about Albania’s history from the Renaissance to the Communism period.
These declarations were held during the International Conference for the 100th anniversary of independence, with the presence of famous Albanian historians. The conference was greeted by the Parliament Speaker, Jozefina Topalli. http://www.top-channel.tv/english/artikull.php?id=7672
